Hello and welcome to our May issue, “A Deeper Knowing”.
This month we are experiencing a very deep knowing of JESUS, as He is asking us to trust Him as a team in a way that we have never trusted before. And because of that you will be reading amazing stories about our writers.
As you may know a few of our writing staff had babies over the last few months, myself included, (thank you team for honoring me last month). As well as myself, our editor Kelsey Williams gave birth to baby Rooney Jane on March 2nd and our writer Morgan Day Cecil welcomed baby Emmanuelle Poem Cecil into the world and you can read all about the ways Morgan knows Jesus on a whole new level because of her birth process. There are many new articles, but you will notice some changes. The main one I would love to share with you.
Jesus doesn’t make mistakes with us and each month as He has called the themes of the magazine, He has taken us first through the theme in our lives. Last month’s theme was “A Calling” and He began to speak to Nicole and I about being called to something else.
For that reason you will be seeing some changes on the site & we would love to ask for your prayers as we seek God on our next and discern the next steps for the magazine. We trust Jesus as He calls us to a new thing (2 Corinthians 5) and we are being faithful to Him to know us deeply and know the best plan for our lives. No matter what happens from this month on, we trust that you have grown in faith through reading each month & have been able to discover Jesus & know Him more deeply and passionately (He loves you back in the same way).
And so for this reason, we ask that you would pray:
1. For our next steps.
2. For the right person to express interest in our magazine & take it over.
